Try massaging Ren- 12 ( http://acuxo.com/meridianPictures.asp?point=CV12&meridian=Conception%20Vessel
)

it does help sometimes. hiccups apparently are considered rebellious qi (lung qi not descending, kidneys not grasping lung qi, diaphragm not behaving smoothly). i cant remember what the official treatment is for it...

here in florida there was a story about a girl who had rapid fire hiccups for somethign like a month and couldnt stop. the assorted newscasters were freaking out: "EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TRIED!!! NOTHING WORKS! DOCTORS ARE HELPLESS! NO HOPE REMAINS!!" She'd been to just about every single '-ologist' imaginable.

of course i just glared at the tv and grumbled "she obviously hasnt been to a chinese doctor, or else she wouldnt still have the damn hiccups..."
