My random seven

I wonder how the number seven came about, and why this number is chosen as oppose to any other numbers for this tag from Rick. Which leads me to the first random point about me:

1. I like numbers, but somehow I’m not very numerate. I like the elegance of numbers, like how any division by the number 7 will have the decimals converge to this string of number 142857. But I’m not a very good human calculator.

2. I’ve dabbled in wu shu when I was in primary school, but even then, my hands couldn’t touch my toes. One of the reasons why I’m doing Tai Ji now.

3. My “friend” who coaxed me into doing the Vertical Marathon ditched me on the day of the marathon, and I didn’t even want to do it in the first place!

4. I never like to read or write before university. That’s why I choose numbers over words. It’s a bit different now. I’m making up for the lost “reads and writes”.

5. I like Nintendo games. Even participated in a Xbox vs Playstation vs Nintendo run over at Nike! I’ve only ever owned a Nintendo after I started working though. Looking forward to owning a Wii at some point.

6. I speak/read/write 3 languages and speak some dialects. I normally put this down in the resume just to pad it up. It never works. No job ever requires all these from me… yet!

7. You’d think cactus is easy to maintain? Well… i’ve managed to kill one… I’m not meant for the plant kingdom I guess.
