Stroke of genius! (a.k.a. cheating)

I know statistics lie, but I didn’t know it can lie so well! By a stroke of genius, or through a rather sneaky adjustment of how I calculate, my success rate in practising Tai Ji is now 95% instead of 85%! I excluded the days where I am really ill, just like taking a medical leave from work…

Actually, I’m sad to report that I’ve broken the streak again. I’ve only missed one day, but that one day caused my streak to start all over. I’m now on a 9-days streak. Still, it has been 69 days since the start of the year. I’ve practised 59 of those days, making my success rate 85.5%. I never thought I could do this, but it feels amazing.

Streak: 9 days, Failure rate: 14.5% (or 4.8% if I exclude ill days… )

I’m sure no one will notice that you missed a day.

You’re right Rick. But losing one day always makes the next day more difficult to get into, and the day after, and the day after… After a while, it’s a lot of days a week. I’ve been down that road before! :)
