It’s been tough to select a list of books that have really helped me. I’m sure this list of books will continue to grow, but here is my list of books that I’ve read so far that have helped me in my own journey. I hope you will find them useful in your journey as well. The full list of books can be found here. Here are a few recommendations to get you started.
Learning to draw can really help expand your vision. How you see things and how you preceive things, from the larger picture right down to the minute detail. See how Maria Montessori and Charles Darwin did it. Or even better, you can even learn to do it yourself.
Before any journey, you might want to consider preparing an environment that is conducive for your journey. I’m not talking about escaping into the woods or hiding in the mountains, although it might not be a bad idea.
I mean methods to clear your plate of todos, and ultimately to clear your mind. I highly recommend David Allen‘s advice in this matter.
Of course, for some of us (like me!) who likes to know the “why”, the philosophy behind some of these journeys, try Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence. See a glimpse of the book here and here.
For strategies on specific journeys, there are books on wealth, health, investment, business and even running. For the full list of books, click here.
